I love California. I love lots of places, actually, but California is my favorite. It’s home and even though I’ve resided in California my entire life, there is still so much wonder waiting to be discovered.
Burney Falls State Park is one of those magical wonders that drench you and leave you frozen in its spray. It’s absolutely captivating.
It’s also extremely easy to walk to. That’s right, the hike is so easy, it’s considered a walk. The only issue with that is that it makes this destination very crowded on weekends; therefore, I suggest you get there as early as possible or visit it during the off season (late fall).
Burney Falls is located in Northern California, near Redding and Shasta.
There is more than just a waterfall to feast your eyes on. There’s interesting foliage, rivers, and bugs. Burney Falls State Park is definitely a recommended destination for Californians and those out of state.
Also, like I said, I love California and I love spending time in its great outdoors, but California is currently, quite literally, on fire. So many people have lost their homes, families, and all of their belongings.
If you can, there are several places you can donate to help these victims. You can visit this website here to see how you can help.
Let’s all pitch in and help each other this holiday season! Stay happy and healthy, y’all!
