Hi! I want to begin this post with this: there are 10 more days until election day. Have you voted yet? Make sure you get out there and do so if you haven’t already 🙂
Now for the official post.
With Covid running rampant across our country, travel has been seriously hampered. I’ve seen a lot of people taking long road trips, though, and figured this post could be helpful for those in California looking for a short little getaway in their cars or RV rentals.
This was a girls trip I took with some friends a few years ago. One of my friends planned it. We drove from California to Oregon and made it a goal to see as many waterfalls as we could in a few days. This was the same trip where we visited the Lewis River Waterfall. I find myself always going to Oregon and finding new waterfalls to visit. There are so many!
Here goes! These were my top 5 and they’re in the recommended order.
1. Tumalo Falls –Â You can park and walk to it. It’s a short walk.
2. Koosah Falls – It is within walking distance of Sahalie Falls
3. Sahalie Falls
4. Latourell Falls
5. Bridal Veil Falls – As you can see, you can jump into this one 🙂
All of these waterfalls are easily accessible and don’t require much of a hike.
I hope you’re all staying safe, healthy, and sane during these times. If you haven’t noticed, this blog has become more of a hobby, but I hope you enjoy reading it all the same. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been working on a picture book and it releases 2021, so if you’re interested, you can check out www.hayleydiep.com for more info.
Remember to wash your hands, wear your masks, and VOTE!Â
